We work hard to provide our animals the healthiest and most natural life possible. Our animals are processed through a local butcher shop in Norwood, Ontario then stored at the farm until distribution. Tipsy Willow Farm is an old farm with a new style. Jeanette Heffernan, a 24-year-old, grew up sheep farming with her family and in 2019 decided to begin her own adventure and take over her families second property as well as get her own flock of 160 sheep. She met me, another young female farmer, Katie Sherratt, and we began to farm together and expand the farm and the variety of animals. The farm now has goats, ducks, chickens and water buffalo. Some of our animals are rescues and some are for meat. We aim hard to work with the environment and utilize eco-conscious and ethical practices. Tipsy Willow wants to reconnect and educate people on how their food can be produced sustainably while still creating delicious products.
