Food, like music and sports, brings people from all walks of life together. As much as African immigrants are key players in this space, their presence is almost non-existent in retail stores. This is what inspired Lola to start It's Souper, to bridge this gap and spread more awareness: not just with exposure to new and exciting recipes, but also to support the global trade and importation of herbs from West Africa which are used in the soups. It's Souper mission is to fill a void that exists in the retail sector: African inspired recipes that are "Made by Us, for All."

Lola makes delicious soups using all natural ingredients that are made fresh, and free from preservatives. Lola works hard to source ingredients from local farmers who are practicing sustainable farming. She's very proud of the brand It's Souper has created: Exposing Canadians to new flavours and recipes. Lola is also proud to be one of the very few black owned food and beverage brands that can be found in mainstream grocery stores.

It's Souper's sauces and soups are made with African spices and chilis, which give them a unique flavour and extra kick of heat! If you find that any of the soups are too spicy for your liking, you can add some tomato sauce or cream to reduce the heat. As a Nigerian, Lola grew up eating lots of hearty stews, and all of the soups from It's Souper can be used as a base for other recipes or paired with carbs. For inspiration, check out their Instagram where Lola and her team share lots of creative ways to enjoy the soups!

All of the soups and sauces from It's Souper are made fresh and immediately frozen. When you receive Lola's soups from Graze & Gather, they will be frozen and you can can either put your soup in the freezer, where it will stay fresh up to one year, or in the refrigerator where soups should be enjoyed within ten days
